Concept

Our "Traditional Goulash and Kurtos Cooking Workshop" is a unique team building activity that immerses participants in the rich culinary traditions of Central Europe. Conducted entirely over an open fire, this workshop provides a hands-on experience in preparing Goulash, a hearty stew, and Kurtos, a sweet pastry, both traditional delicacies.
Adding a competitive twist to the mix, teams will not only prepare these dishes but also engage in a friendly cooking competition. Each team will be tasked with creating the most delicious Goulash and Kurtos, which will be judged and scored at the end of the workshop.
The Goulash Cooking: Teams will learn to prepare this traditional stew, combining various ingredients and spices over an open fire. This task requires coordination, patience, and precision. The goal is to create a Goulash that not only tastes great but also captures the essence of this traditional dish.
The Kurtos Making: Teams will also get a chance to make Kurtos, a sweet, chimney-shaped pastry. This task will test their creativity and attention to detail, as they roll, sugar, and bake the dough to perfection.
The Competition: After the cooking session, teams will present their dishes to the rest of the participants, who will taste and rate each Goulash. This will add an extra layer of excitement and challenge to the activity, as teams strive to impress their colleagues with their culinary skills.
This unique cooking workshop not only allows team members to bond over a shared culinary experience but also encourages them to learn about each other's strengths, weaknesses, and communication styles. The hands-on nature of the activity and the competitive element will help teams to work more effectively together under pressure.

Location

The Traditional Goulash and Kurtos Cooking Workshop is a mobile concept and can be conducted at any suitable outdoor location of your choice.
